Wooden Cask Tap

The Wooden Cask Tap enables the user to dispense Ale direct from a Beer Cask in the old traditional way.

Turned from the best quality cherry wood these Wooden Cask Taps will self seal by expansion within the cask keystone.

In the abscence of a keystone, a hole approximately 28mm will need to be drilled in the Cask wherever the Wooden Cask Tap is to be inserted.

The Wooden Cask Tap is then driven in to the hole with a Mallet and even though this may not seal immediately, after several minutes both the Wooden Cask tap and the timber around the hole will expand to form a seal.

The Wooden Cask Tap is 7.5" in Length.

The Wooden Cask Tap has a perforated nozzle to reduce the risk of sediment being drawn with the Ale.
